The company Konapharma AG was founded in 1989 as a limited company (AG), with the purpose to supply customers with pharmaceutical dossiers for submissions. In 1995 the company extended its activity to the manufacture of medicinal products under controlled environments. Since April 2009 the company is operating a new modern facility.

The company specializes in the development and manufacture of solid dosage forms including primary and secondary packaging. Included is the manufacture and packaging of investigational medicinal products.
